Lucian Gabriel Wiina Msamati is a British-Tanzanian actor, writer, director, and producer in theatre, film, television, and radio. He is known for his role as Salladhor Saan in the HBO series Game of Thrones.
British actor Lucian Msamati was born on 5 March 1976 at St Thomas' Hospital in London and grew up in Zimbabwe with his Tanzanian parents, who are a doctor and a nurse.
Lucian Msamati joined Prince Edward School in Harare and completed his schooling then He studied towards a BA honors degree in French and Portuguese at the University of Zimbabwe from 1995 to 1997.
At the starting days of his career, Lucian Msamati took a day job as an advertising copywriter and freelance radio presenter. Now, Lucian Msamati is a popular celebrity who actively works in theatres along with his acting career as a playwright and show producer.
