Reeson Wayne "Reece" Shearsmith is an English actor, writer, comedian, and member of The League of Gentlemen, with Steve Pemberton, Mark Gatiss, and Jeremy Dyson. Known for the dark comedy anthology series Inside No. 9.
Actor and comedian Reece Shearsmith was born in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, as Reeson Wayne Shearsmith. He attended Andrew Marvell High School and then Bretton Hall College of Education, where he met Mark Gatiss and Steve Pemberton, fellow actors and comedians.
Reece Shearsmith is married to Jane Shearsmith, who he first met on tour during a play and now the couple have two children together.
