JoJo Siwa was born on 19 May 2003 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Jessalynn Siwa, who works as a professional dance instructor from Iowa, and Tom Siwa, who works as a chiropractor from Nebraska.
Siwa was in a relationship with TikTok star Mark Bontempo from August to November 2020, she came out as being part of the LGBTQ+ community on social media in January 2021, initially declining to label her sexuality. She has since confirmed that she is not attracted to men.
