Bhushan Kumar is the son of popular singer Gulshan Kumar and now he and his family are ranked as the 175th richest Indian with a net worth of ₹10,000 crores (around US$1.2 billion). Bhushan Kumar took control of the music company T-Series in 1998, along with his uncle Krishan Kumar, after the murder of his father, Gulshan Kumar. He went on to become the chairman and managing director of the company.
