Pawan Singh Biography, Political Career
Pawan Singh was born in Jokahri village near Arrah, Bihar on 5 January 1986. He learned singing from Shri Ajit Singh and completed his schooling at H.N.K (+2) School, Arrah. From an early age, he started singing and now his fans call him the Power Star of the Bhojpuri Industry because of his remarkable singing.
BJP declared him as a party candidate in the 2024 Indian General Election for the Asansol Lok Sabha constituency but Singh refused to contest the election from there. Later on, he decided to contest the election from the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency as an Independent candidate. He was defeated with a margin of over one lakh votes by Raja Ram Singh Kushwaha in this election.
Pawan Singh's Personal Life, Wife
Singh married Neelam Singh in 2014 in a private ceremony attended by family, friends, relatives, and some big names from the Bhojpuri industry but soon after their marriage, Neelam committed suicide at their home on 8 March 2015. In 2018, Pawan married Jyoti Singh in a private ceremony in Ballia attended only by family and some close aides. He filed for divorce from Jyoti in 2022 which hasn't yet been finalized as Pawan Singh has refused to proceed with the same.
