Qiaotou youth Li Wen Qin was arrested for participating in the Formosa Magazine Parade on December 10, 1979. After being imprisoned, he learned how to survive soaking salt water in the rice and stirring it, swallowing it together with the beautiful memories of his lover, A Chun, the joys and sorrows shared with relatives and friends, and the hope and yearning he still has for democracy.
