NCIS: Origins is an upcoming American television series that serves as the sixth installment in the NCIS franchise and pre-sequel to the original series. It focuses on the early investigative career of the show's original protagonist Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
It follows Gibbs starting his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks.
