Sam Heughan started his career in Theatre before officially beginning his acting debut in the entertainment industry. He performed at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh before moving to the Royal Court Theatre in London. Even he was also nominated for the "Laurence Olivier Award" for his theater performance.
In 2001, Sam Heughan officially started his acting career with the short film "Small Moments". And in 2004 he debuted himself in the television industry with his first tv mini-series "Island at War" which was released on the PBS network. After Island At War series, he appeared in many television series and movies including River City (2005), The Wild West (2006), Midsomer Murders (2007), Outlander (2014), and many more.
