Synopsis and Storyline of “Lelaki Melay Terakhir”

Jazlan is called Ustaz, a pious young man, strongly religious lives a simple life, and excels in Islamic studies. Meanwhile, Kasih is a modern woman who lives her life by her own rules. Alawiyah Jazlan's mother, and Khatijah Kasih's mother, are good friends who are determined to match their two children.

Although they have tried many ways, the efforts of the two mothers failed many times because Jazlan and Kasih did not agree due to their differences in personality and life choices. Jazlan was relieved when he got a scholarship offer to continue his studies at a university in Madinah. This offer allows him to escape from the engagement arranged by his mother. The two met when their mother decided to send Kasih to Madinah to seduce Jazlan on the pretext of sending necessities and helping Kasih perform Umrah.
